Day 2

Jordon's chemotherapy started at about 7am. He received three different drugs throughout the coarse of the morning. He will receive another round again tomorrow morning and again on Monday morning. He did not get much sleep last night because they had to monitor his vitals and urine pretty regularly. He slept most of this morning. He has had an almost constant headache and nausea. His anti-nausea meds work great but give him a headache in return.

His friends Dylan and Max came to visit today and took him in the wheelchair up to the teen room to check that out. His grammie, aunt Carolyn, Pa and Geniene came to lift his spirits too. Liz's dad, Pa, brought him a brand new laptop so he can pass his time the teenager way. Thanks Pa- he appreciates your generosity and love. Also, his little sister Madison and her neighborhood friends sat outside today to sell lemonade to raise money in support of her brother. They raised nearly $80. Good job Maddy!

All in all he had a good day today. We'll see how things go after another round tomorrow morning.

Hey Jordon. I hope all is as good as it can be today. Maybe they can bring you some good ice cream. I can't wait to come see everyone. We will have a good time. You get better and then next year you can come go gigging down here. Have you read Lance armstrongs book if not I will bring it for you. It is an inspiring book about his personal fight with testicular cancer. Let me know kiddo. Keep your chin up. We will see you a couple weeks! Love Gma Lee!!

Hey Jordan, just wanted to see how you are feeling. That's really neat of you sister to sell lemonade to raise money! I know that so many of us are here to support you in any way we can. Hope the hospital is taking good care of you. Looking forward to hearing about your progress from you mom. Lotsa love, Esther

Jordon,
Just wanted to say we are missing you in our block. We gave everyone new seats, and your seat is right in the middle of the class now. Jacob is now in the front row! It just ended up being alphabetical.
Other than that, we are hoping you are feeling OK. I think your friends that know about this are all wondering if there is anything they/ we can do. Please let us know, as we are all in this together.
